Cloudland Family Care primarily serves Cloudland, Rising Fawn, Lookout Mountain, McLemore, and nearby luxury cabins, resorts, wedding venues, and mountain stays.

What makes Cloudland Family Care different?

Cloudland Family Care was created to provide a more personal, thoughtful, and elevated alternative to traditional childcare options during travel stays, weddings, and mountain retreats. Care is intentionally coordinated to feel calm, trustworthy, flexible, and supportive for both parents and children.

What types of childcare do you offer?

We provide private short-term family care including vacation childcare, date night care, wedding and event support, overnight care, and personalized family support during travel stays.

Is care provided in our cabin or rental?

In many cases, yes. Care is often coordinated directly within the family’s cabin, vacation rental, resort stay, or approved location.

Do you offer wedding childcare?

Yes. Wedding weekends, rehearsal dinners, receptions, and related family events are among the most common requests.

How far in advance should we request care?

Earlier requests are strongly encouraged, especially during weddings, holidays, weekends, and peak travel seasons in the mountain region.

Is submitting a request a confirmed booking?

No. Care requests must first be reviewed for availability, timing, location, and scheduling compatibility before confirmation.

Can care be requested for multiple children?

Yes. Families may request care for multiple children, though scheduling, pricing, and support needs may vary depending on ages and circumstances.

What ages do you work with?

Cloudland Family Care provides support for children beginning at 2 months of age. Care is thoughtfully coordinated around routines, comfort levels, developmental needs, and the nature of each family’s stay.

Do parents need to remain nearby?

Parents or guardians must remain reachable throughout the care period and provide emergency contact information before care begins.

Do you provide overnight care?

Select overnight or extended support requests may be considered depending on timing, scheduling, number of children, care needs, and availability.

Can care be customized around our schedule?

Yes. Many families request support around dinners, golf outings, weddings, spa appointments, events, and travel schedules.

What information should we provide before care?

Families should provide travel details, care timing, children’s ages, routines, allergies, emergency contacts, and anything important for creating a smooth care experience.

Do you support resort and luxury travel stays?

Yes. Cloudland Family Care is designed specifically around elevated travel experiences, luxury cabins, private rentals, resorts, and mountain retreats.

Are deposits required?

A 50% reservation deposit is requested to reserve your family’s care dates and is applied toward the final booking total. Deposits become non-refundable within 72 hours of the scheduled care time, though they may be transferred if reservation dates need to be adjusted.

What happens after we submit a request?

Your request is personally reviewed and followed up with regarding availability, scheduling, next steps, and any additional details needed.
