Terms for private family care requests.
These terms outline how care requests, scheduling, payments, cancellations, deposits, safety expectations, and family responsibilities are handled by Cloudland Family Care.
Overview
Cloudland Family Care provides private childcare, vacation childcare, wedding childcare, overnight care, and family support services by request and by availability. These terms help set clear expectations before care dates are confirmed.

Care Requests Are Not Guaranteed
Submitting a care request does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking. All requests must be reviewed and accepted before care is scheduled.

Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after availability has been reviewed, care details have been approved, and the required reservation deposit has been received.

Reservation Deposit
A 50% reservation deposit is required to reserve care dates and times. The deposit is applied toward the final booking balance.

Final Balance
The remaining balance is due 48 hours before scheduled care begins. If the remaining balance is not received by the due date, the reservation may be cancelled and the reserved care time released.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made within 7 days of scheduled care make the reservation deposit non-refundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled care make all payments received non-refundable.

Reserved Care Time
Families are billed for the full reserved care period, regardless of whether care concludes earlier than scheduled. Reserved care time is held exclusively for the family once confirmed.

Additional or Extended Time
Additional care time requested beyond the reserved period may be available by request and approval. Additional time will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Parent Responsibilities
Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate information about children, allergies, routines, medical considerations, emergency contacts, location access, and any special instructions needed to provide safe and appropriate care.

Parent Availability
A parent or authorized guardian must remain reachable during the care period. Emergency contact information must be provided before care begins.

Care Location
Care may take place at a cabin, resort stay, private rental, venue, private residence, or other approved location. The care environment must be safe, accessible, and appropriate for children.

Health & Safety
Families should disclose allergies, illness, medications, behavioral concerns, comfort needs, developmental considerations, or special instructions before care begins. Cloudland Family Care may decline or end care if conditions are unsafe or materially different from what was disclosed.

Schedule Changes
Changes to care time, care duration, location, number of children, or booking details may affect pricing and may require updated payment before care is provided.

Event, Wedding & Overnight Bookings
Weddings, events, holidays, overnight care, group care, retreats, multi-day care, and high-demand booking periods may require custom timing, additional planning, adjusted pricing, or specific payment terms.

Independent Venues & Hosts
Cloudland Family Care operates independently and is not formally partnered with, endorsed by, or affiliated with any venue, resort, rental company, host, or property manager unless specifically stated in writing.

Privacy & Family Information
Families are expected to provide accurate information needed for safe care. Cloudland Family Care handles family information, children’s details, stay locations, and care requests with discretion and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Right to Decline Service
Cloudland Family Care may decline or discontinue service if a request is outside the service area, unsafe, unsuitable, incomplete, inconsistent with the agreed care details, or outside the scope of services offered.

Updates to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this page will apply to future care requests unless otherwise agreed in writing.
